Veterans take the shots for the stay-at-homes

Dear Editor,

It has been amusing to read letters to the editor as people for peace viciously, in war-like mode, attack Mr. Moolick with venom and name calling. Mr. Moolick is capable of defending himself. He bravely fought for our country against past attempts at foreign incursion.

This letter is to call the attention of the people of peace to our brave, dedicated CIA operatives that controlled a plane to eliminate al-Qaida officers on Nov. 4. The people of peace should heap praise on these warriors. They are out there risking their lives to save all Americans, even those who are afraid to defend the Republic that has so richly endowed them with freedom of speech and an affluent lifestyle. People like Mr. Moolick, by his sacrifice and patriotism, helped create the freedom we all enjoy.

Thank a veteran between now and Monday, Veterans Day. In fact, consider thanking our veterans and active military every day. They have been, or are now, out there taking the shots even for the stay-at-homes and runners from responsibility.

Respectfully submitted,

Jack E. Blankenship
