Victor G. Van Vleet

Victor Gordon Van Vleet, of Grand Junction, Colo., died in Silt, Colo., where he also had a home, on Tuesday, April 30, 2002. He was 57.

He worked as an inspector on industrial construction. He enjoyed his family and friends, his work, golfing and fishing.

He is survived by: wife Sonya Sue; mother Opal, of Denver, Colo.; son and daughter-in-law Ron and Hilda; daughter and son-in-law Vickie and Tom Schauster; grandchildren Jacob Hockins and Natalie Schauster; and step-grandchildren Shannon and Randy Ankarlo.

He was preceded in death by his father, brother and sister.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Donations may be sent in Mr. Van Vleet’s name to Roaring Fork Hospice, P.O. Box 1970, Glenwood Springs, CO 81602.
