Viola Marie Young Beach Hankins
Viola Marie Young Beach Hankins of Carbondale died Saturday, April 12, 2003, at Heritage Park Care Center. She was 90.
She was born May 20, 1912, in Osole Township, N.D., to Rose M. Smith and Nicholas W. Young.
She married Douglas A. Hankins on Feb. 19, 1934, in Fullerton, Calif. He preceded her in death in 1982.
Mrs. Hankins is survived by a son, Douglas A. Hankins of Victorville, Calif.; by a brother, Malford Young; by a sister, Verna Young; by grandchildren Doug Hankins and Dean Hankins of California; and by great-grandchildren Chad Hankins, Kaitlyn Hankins, Hudson Hankins and Austin Hankins, all of California.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Farnum Holt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
