Colorado Mountain College hopes to make that part easier. The college will host a Visit Day Monday, and registration is still open.Students can tour the campus and join faculty, staff and students to explore their options at CMC. “It is a very popular way to see if CMC is going to be a good fit and a great way for local students to check out a college in their own back yard,” said Admissions Assistant Deb Cutter. CMC’s Spring Valley Campus offers associate’s degrees in arts, science and general studies, as well as accounting and business degrees that transfer to four-year colleges and universities. In addition, specialized programs providing associate degrees in nursing, veterinary technology, graphic design and photography are popular programs at Spring Valley Campus. CMC has many more associate degree programs and certificate level (one year of study) courses as well. On Monday, visitors can look at residence halls, meet faculty, staff and current students, and learn about specific programs.
