Vivian Virginia Puckett

Vivian Virginia Puckett passed away Oct. 3, 2006, at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs.Vivian was born June 5, 1924, in Kimball Creek to Peter and Marie (Gustafson) Hoaglund. She married Charles Clifford Puckett Sept. 18, 1945, in Glenwood Springs. They had three children. She was a longtime member of the LDS church and a member of the LDS Relief Society. Vivian was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed life and crocheting. She had been a lifelong resident of Colorado. She will be greatly missed by many.She is survived by son A. Wesley (Sharon) Puckett; daughter Yvonne Goodnight-Rash; daughter-in-law Shirley Johnston; sister Lois Lange; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband; son Dean Puckett; brothers Carl and Oscar Hoaglund; and sister Eileen Albright.Visitation will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Colorado West Stake LDS Church, 2542 G Road, Grand Junction. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. the same day and at the same church. Burial will follow in the Orchard Mesa Cemetery in Grand Junction. Joe Kline will officiate at the services.Farnum-Holt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
