Volleyball Demons go 1-2 at 4A District 7 tourney

A 1-2 record at Saturday’s 4A District 7 volleyball tournament wasn’t enough to extend Glenwood Springs’ season.

The Demons defeated Summit and lost to both Eagle Valley and Montezuma-Cortez in three games.

Host Eagle Valley defeated Cortez to win the tournament and will receive the district’s top seed at regionals. Cortez is the district’s second qualifier.

Glenwood Springs finished its season with a 10-12 overall record. The Demons finished fifth in the 4A Western Slope League.
