Walton R. ‘Buddy’ Hendricks
Walton R. “Buddy Hendricks of Winter Garden, Fla., a former Aspen resident, died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003, at his home, the victim of a homicide.
A memorial service was held Nov. 8.
A mentally disturbed neighbor shot Mr. Hendricks before shooting and wounding another neighbor and then killing himself.
Mr. Hendricks is survived by his mother, Charlotte Walls of Florida, formerly of Aspen; and by brothers Ed Hendricks of Florida and Charlie Hendricks of Aspen.
