Irene "Sissy" Payton and Warren "Binks" Payton

Warren was born in Mt. Ida, Kansas to Chester and Catherine Payton. He served in the Army and was a Korean War veteran. Warren spent most of his life in the Rifle, Grand Valley and De Beque area

At Warren’s request there will be no funeral service.

Warren passed away at his home in Cedaredge, Colo. with his wife Irene and daughter Cass and Husband J.D by his side.

Survivors include his daughter and her husband: Cass and J.D. Diaz of Cedaredge, Colo.; two stepdaughters and their husbands: Norma and Ed Mai of Missouri and Barbara and Frank Caylor of Arizona; one sister Lily Womack of California; two brothers Wayne and Alberta Payton of Parachute, Norman and Jean Payton of Texas; He is also survived by his lifelong friend Butch and Shannon Holland of Grand Junction; 3 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
