Weed cost share program applications due June 30

If you want help whacking those weeds, get your application in soon.Noxious weed cost share program applications are due June 30. The Bookcliff, Mount Sopris and South Side Conservation Districts and Garfield County Vegetation Management will provide a share of the cost to treat noxious weeds in the county.Applications for the program are available at the conservation district office or by calling 945-5494, ext. 101.An on-site visit is required by county vegetation manager Steve Anthony. To make an appointment call 625-8601. His visit will help identify weeds on the property, address resource issues and develop a management plan.
