An Irish potato bake and bake sale will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday at the Masonic Temple, 901 Colorado Ave. in Glenwood Springs. Potato, toppings, salad and dessert, $5. Carbondales Gordon Cooper Library begins its Independent Film Fest at 8 p.m. Friday with Long Life, Happiness and Prosperity. Five other films will be shown on Friday evenings every other week for 10 weeks, including March 19, April 2, 16 and 30 and May 14.
