Westbound I-70 crash shuts down interstate

A two-vehicle crash in Glenwood Canyon shut down one lane of westbound Interstate 70 traffic for more than an hour Wednesday afternoon.The driver of Lincoln Navigator lost control of the vehicle on an icy part of westbound I-70 about a mile into Glenwood Canyon at 12:40 p.m. and ran into the back of a tractor-trailer, according to the Colorado State Patrol.Two people from the Navigator were transported to Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs with what were reported to be minor injuries. The driver of the tractor-trailer did not suffer any injuries, according to the CSP. The names of the injured were not immediately available Wednesday afternoon.The crash led the CSP to shut down one lane of westbound traffic on I-70 for about one hour and 15 minutes. The investigation into the crash was ongoing Wednesday afternoon, according to the CSP.
