What happened to Rubes?

Dear Editor,

Red Feather Ridge? Vote yes, vote no?! But hey, what happened to Rubes? We had no vote in this matter, one day it was there, the next day it was gone! Rubes brightened our day, put a smile on our faces and sent chills up and down our spines, especially with the delightful snowman humor!

Our morning is just not the same. We had no warning that Rubes would just melt away! We miss Rubes. Can’t you please put him back in the paper?

Editor’s note: Rubes didn’t fit when the paper size changed June 1, losing one vertical inch. The editor did explain the situation in a column published May 30.
