Saggar and raku workshop with visiting artist Terry Shepherd, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, April 12-13, at the Colorado Mountain College Aspen studio. Class limit is 15. Cost $65. The Night of the Stars talent show, a benefit for the Riverside School eighth-grade class, is from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, and Thursday, April 10, at Riverside School. Tickets are $5 or $20 per family.

The Garfield County Assessor’s Office will be closed from Friday, April 11 through Tuesday, April 15, for renovation and remodeling. Two representatives from the office will be in the Treasurer’s Office during the closure to answer all questions and conduct business.
