The Colorado Mountain College Center for Excellence in the Arts Gallery presents “otherworld,” an exhibit of fine art photography by Katherine Schmidt through Aug. 22. Show opens July 14 with a reception from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, July 14, at the gallery, 9th St. and Grand Ave., Glenwood Springs. Gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Gabriel Foundation will present the 3rd Art Affair Extraordinaire on from 1-8 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at O’Brien Graphics, 618 East Bleeker, Aspen to benefit the shelter’s unique parrot residents. The Silent Auction has fabulous art available for purchase and a reception with delicious food. Meet some of the foundation’s feathered residents, parrots from around the world.
