Photographs by former Valley View Hospital ER Nurse Teeny Jeung are now on display in the main hall of the hospital. The exhibit includes pictures taken by Teeny on her world travels and pictures of her. The exhibit runs through November.The Colorado Mountain College Central Services Gallery is currently presenting a series of portraits of women who live with and battle breast cancer by Aspen photographer Nora Feller. “Portraits of Hope: Conquering Breast Cancer,” will run through Sept. 30. The gallery is at Grand Avenue and 9th Street in Glenwood Springs and is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The New Castle recreation department needs volunteers for the annual Haunted House that will be open Friday and Saturday nights, Oct. 11 and 12, 18 and 19, 25 and 26 and Thursday, Oct. 31, Halloween. An outflow release mechanism has not worked for a few years and will be repaired. Water levels are expected to return to normal next summer.
