Create a new relationship to food, life and spirit in the Why We Hunger? workshop, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at the WIN Health Institute, 1460 E. Valley Road in Basalt. Featured will be hypnosis, transformational healing practices, tea circle, cooking class and sacred bowl ceremony. Melanie Milasinovich, clinical and sports hypnotherapist, will be the facilitator.

Self-hypnosis CD is included in the $150 fee.

The Aspen Choral Society will perform spring concerts at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, at the United Methodist Church, 824 Cooper Ave. in Glenwood Springs; and at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at the Aspen Chapel.

The concerts will feature Gabriel Faure’s “Requiem,” written in 1887. Featured are Susan Nicholson on organ, harpist Janet Harriman, and soloists Scott MacCracken, Marni White and Maureen Jackson.
