What’s up with McInnis?
Dear Editor,
I note with interest that, only two months after announcing that he would not seek re-election, U.S. Rep. Scott McInnis was quoted Thursday that he was looking for a job and may even resign his seat before his term ends next year.
He was roundly criticized when he broke his promise to the voters about his term limits, which he justified by claiming to be too important seniority-wise to leave Congress.
Now it appears possible that he is so anxious to get out of there that he may break his oath-of-office promises, also! I wonder what he’s running from?
