Wheels Halloran

Wheels Halloran, of Carbondale, Colo., died Monday, Sept. 16, 2002, in Carbondale. He was 28.

He was born May 30, 1974, in Aspen, Colo., to Linda Halloran and Dewey Fanti.

He graduated from Roaring Fork High School in 1992, where he excelled in art.



He worked for Volckhausen Painting and previously worked for Dru Handy Painting.

One of his great joys in life was snowboarding and “catching big air.” He made everyone smile.



Mr. Halloran is survived by his mother and stepfather, Linda Halloran and Andrew Taylor, of Carbondale; father and stepmother Dewey and Judy Fanti, of Carbondale; sister Anna Halloran, of Carbondale; brothers Andy Bill Taylor, of Carbondale, Dewey Fanti, of Raleigh, N.C., Gregory Fanti, of San Diego, Calif., and David Close, of Hawaii; grandmother Jessie Halloran; aunts Peggy Halloran, Patty Halloran and Kathy Halloran; and uncles Douglas Fanti, Walter Fanti, Dino Fanti, Donald Fanti and Dennis Fanti.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Carbondale Fire Station in Carbondale.

Memorial contributions may be made where they will do the most good.
