William H. Plowman

William H. Plowman of Denver, a former resident of Glenwood Springs, died Tuesday, April 29, 2003, in Denver. He was 54.

He was born Sept. 8, 1948, in Corona, Calif., to Opal Hart and William Lee Plowman.

He lived in Glenwood Springs from 1976 to 1991. During that time, he worked as a picture framer and was the owner of Glenwood Framing and Gallery.



His greatest passion was boating and being near the ocean. He enjoyed rafting, fishing and cooking.

Mr. Plowman is survived by his mother, Opal Rouse of Little Rock, Calif.; by a son, Christopher Lee Plowman of Glenwood Springs; by a daughter, Lynn Elizabeth Plowman of Glenwood Springs; by sisters Berna Dean Clem of Stockton, Calif., and Ellouise Bryant of Lancaster, Calif.; and by a brother, Stephen Plowman of Ontario, Calif.



A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 27, at the home of Ruth Pickard, 1951 County Road 154 in Glenwood Springs.
