Wyly looks to evoke passion

BASALT – The Wyly Community Art Center will celebrate the passion of the Roaring Fork Valley Sunday from 5:30-9:30 p.m. with its autumn fundraiser.According to executive director Deb Jones, the theme for each annual fundraiser has consistently paralleled the growth of the Center. This year’s event will celebrate the passion that ignites everyone. “Great things happen due to the passions of the people within this community,” Jones said in a press statement. The Roaring Fork Club in Basalt is the site of the event and the evening will include live entertainment with the renowned Jeannie Walla Quartet, a dynamic live auction presented by Hunter O’Hanian, president of Anderson Ranch, and master of ceremonies, famed Pastor Mustard-Dan Sadowsky.The live auction packages include passionate sharings and pairings, including an evening with your own chef and sommelier, an exclusive day of Nordic skiing and lunch hosted on a private ranch, the perfect day of skiing, instruction, lunch and gifts on Aspen Mountain, art, astronomy, film and more.Tickets are $150 per person.
