I wonder, if Mitt “Mittens” Romney loses the election, will he refile those 2011 taxes to reduce his effective tax rate from 14.1 percent down to 9 percent?
Let me introduce the best choice for president of the United States, Willard “Mitt” Romney. Married to Ann 43 years, has five sons raised by a stay-at-home mom and 15 grandkids. Mr. Romney is 65 years young.
He graduated from Brigham Young University, Harvard business and law school cum laude. His records are not sealed. His academic records, Social Security card, medical records and birth certificate are open for viewing.
He is patriotic, fiscally conservative, charitable, self reliant and honest. He believes in God and attends the Mormon Church regularly.
People say because of his self-made wealth he can’t relate to the middle class. Hogwash. He didn’t inherit his success, he worked hard and earned it. (Isn’t that the American dream?) He gave his entire inheritance to charity.
Cofounder of Bain Capital, he created thousands of jobs for Staples, Domino’s, Sealy, Brookstone, Weather Channel, Burger King, Werner Music Group, Dollarama, Home Depot Supply and more.
He was president and CEO of the 2002 Winter Olympics and unpaid president of the Salt Lake Olympic committee for three years. Elected governor of Massachusetts, he took no salary and eliminated a $1.5 billion debt.
He was an unpaid church officer for 10 years. In 2011, he gave over $4 million to charity, or 19 percent of his income. (President Obama gave 1 percent, Vice President Biden gave 0.0013 percent or $300).
Gov. Romney won’t bow down or apologize to foreign leaders or practice fiscal irresponsibility (like Obama). He was never a community organizer (like Obama), smoked pot (like Obama), did drugs (like Obama), or drank (like Obama). He does not associate with communists (like Van Jones), or terrorists (like Bill Ayers), or attend a church whose pastor called for God to damn our country (like Reverend Wright), or have a wife who is ashamed of her country (like Michelle Obama).
Gov. Romney is a hard working family man with a proven resume and will make a great, trustworthy president.
