Did you know (DYK) we are being governed by a “culture of corruption” from the president who received kickbacks from the University of Chicago to all the tax cheats: he has chosen who are now in positions of trust. Our country is on the verge of bankruptcy.

DYK since Obama has taken office he has spent $36 billion/day. His $3.6 trillion budget is by far the largest in history. Those of you who complained about President Bush’s deficit spending must be livid with Obama. How come we haven’t heard from you?

DYK more than $400 billion went to 219 banks, and fewer than five percent receiving government money have responded as to what they did with the cash? The treasury department allocated the money without written policies and procedures governing TARP (Troubled Asset Relief Program). History has shown allocating so much money in so short a time period will inevitably draw those seeking profit criminally.

DYK illegal aliens can apply for home relief under Obama’s $275 million plan if they bought their homes legally?

DYK the U.S. has the highest corporate tax rates in the industrialized world, and the $800-billion stimulus package which is supposed to create two million jobs will cost taxpayers $400,000 to create each job? Does that make sense?

DYK if the money was invested in the private sector, jobs could be created for $50,000 each, or 8 million jobs in half the time?

DYK President Obama is a socialist? The problem with socialism is you eventually run out of other people’s money. His philosophy is to punish the successful and reward the failures. If this country is led by the destitute and dumb, we will not survive. Is it the end of prosperity?

DYK the government mandated 40 cent/hour increase in the minimum wage? This costs a small company employing 14 people $6,000/year with no increase in productivity. I suggest eliminating one position and spreading the responsibility to the other remaining employees. Who do you let go? Why, the employee who voted for Obama, of course.

I think I have the facts correct. I do know this: If I borrow money I cannot repay, I am irresponsible and could be found criminally negligent.

So the government (which is me) Is borrowing money from me (who is broke) and giving it to people who have already proven to be irresponsible.

I was always taught you couldn’t take two negatives and make a positive. This must be some new-fangled math I couldn’t grasp in the 70s, or Washington has found work for those Enron accountants.

As Winston Churchill, World War II hero, statesman, and now prophet said, “Never have so many owed so much to so few.”
