I almost had to tell you all this, but the liberals started a radio network; it went bust in about a year or so because no one was dumb enough to take them seriously. It was attempted and failed, for no other reason than no one would listen to it.

So, does that still mean the federal government needs to force conservative talk radio to present the liberal point of view? I don’t think so, in all reality, the people have spoken, haven’t they?

It really ticks me off that some of you people think that because you don’t agree with someone’s opinion, you feel that that person, or persons’ opinion has got to be silenced. In case some of you have forgotten, this is America. Anyone has the right to express their opinion no matter how stupid you may think they are. And you do not have the right to demand that they be silenced as they have the same right as you to be heard.

Don’t agree with someone’s letter in the paper, write your own, or go read the comics.

A good example is Mr. Talbot. In the 30 years I have known him, very seldom have I agreed with him. I also have spent a lot of time thinking over some of the things that he has said because he has been right on. I also admire the courage he must have to write some of the articles he’s written. And someone has the nerve to suggest that the paper needs to silence him.

I don’t think so.

If you don’t like what he writes, write your own article and submit it, or turn the page.

Too many men and women have died to protect the right to express your opinion, don’t let anyone even talk about taking that right away.

A Kool-Aid drinker? What the heck is that? But I do like Kool-Aid so I will accept this and be proud of it.

So, obviously this letter is to Curt Hanson and all those that have a horrible mind set of “the world is against us” attitude. For one, I do my research and I got my facts from and the Official Site of our House of Representatives. You’re probably one of those folks that gets his information from those radical sites that are filed with conspiracy theories and racism towards our current president.

I can back up everything I said with newspaper articles and legit websites. I am one of those people that strongly wants us to resolve our issues without going to war.

The bombing on 9/11 was a horrible thing and I will always believe us going to Iraq, which wasn’t even the country that bombed us and never had nuclear weapons was a bad choice. I believe that the eye for an eye mentally is not right. If you come kill my dog it is not right for me to go kill yours.

In my opinion, Bush was just finishing his Daddy’s war.

The Constitution was something written so long ago and it has faults. We as a nation have changed. We should have Gay marriage. Let people love whomever they wish. We should seriously outlaw guns that have no use like machine guns, etc.

We are a Nation that is separate from God. I am not Christian. I am not Catholic.

Woman need to have the right to choose whether they have a child or not. It’s your body. It’s your choice. This is a Nation where women and minorities still have to fight for equal rights, it isn’t as bad as other places but this country still has it’s issues and still needs new hope and new change.

So, if a Kool-Aid drinker is someone that believes in peace, equality, environmentalism, and that we should love everyone no matter their race, sexuality, and religion than that is exactly who I am.
