Barbara, aka “Mom,” “Great Grandma,” “Grandma,” “Aunt Barb,” “Sister Dear,” “Crazy Barb” and “Babs” was given the gift of life in Union City, New Jersey, in 1945.
Barb became sick with cancer in December 2014 and entered eternal life on September 28, 2015. Her spirit is carried on by her 3 children, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 3 nephews, 2 surviving siblings in New Jersey, and an extended family of relations and friends from every walk of life.
Barb lived an adventurous life filled with laughter, pulling pranks and always traveling. Barb loved seeing what is around the next corner. On her journey of life she resided in New Jersey, Texas, Oklahoma, South Carolina, New Mexico, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, New York, Kentucky, and her final resting place of Colorado.
She enjoyed people and had the ability to adapt in any environment, which showed through her employment with Bell South, Century 21 Agent, her own clothing company “Aditi, Inc.,” Interior Designer, Private Investigator, Dog Breeder, Exotic Dancer, Bartender, CNA, and full-time mother.
Her love for animals was impeccable and she was a member and supporter of PETA and the National Humane Society. Her faith was strong both in the Catholic Church and Metaphysical world. Her memories and life stories consisted of work, camping, fishing, dancing, socializing, movies , decorating, hiking, pets, children, bicycling, snowmobiling, hunting, photography, art, miniatures, summers at the shore, her love of the holidays, vacationing, and always exploring new places whether she was riding a Harley or traveling in a vehicle, bus, train, or hitchhiking, she was ready for a new adventure.
