George Lautenschlager

My father George entered in to rest on 2/26/2015 at Valley View Hospital very peacefully with his loved ones at his side. He was an amazing man who was full of adventure. He served as a boxer in the U.S. Navy, where he was undefeated featherweight champion while fighting in the Navy. He also fought 16 professional fights. He has 1,500 sky-dives under his belt, was a rock climber, avid skier, and decided to bungee jump in his 60s. He was so quick-witted, and would light up a room, have everyone laughing till they would be crying. But his greatest joy in life was his granddaughters, who he adored, and was so proud of the both. He is preceded in death by his mother and father George, and Helen, and his sister Mary. He is survived by his daughter Harmony Tilley and son Tedder Tilley, son David McAnear, Granddaughters Cheyenne & Tori Tilley, and his Sister Judy Buck. Along with the many, many friends that have always been family in his heart. He will be missed by many but surly never ever forgotten. RIP, Daddy, I love you to the moon and back!
