Glenn O. Gaasch
Glenn O. Gaasch passed away November 24, at his home south of Silt, at the age of 98. He was born in Still Water, Oklahoma. He had lived in Colorado as a child and had hoped to return some day. He was able to realize that dream when he and Lois purchased a ranch south of Silt in 1963. Glenn worked the ranch, and also was employed at the Union Carbide Mill for ten years. He served in the military as an MP during World War Two and was stationed in California. Glenn was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois, of 56 years, and is survived by his current wife, Pam, of 18 years, and his children: Frank and wife Janell of Grand Junction; Michael of Silt; Linda of Oakhurst, Ca; Kim and wife Pamela of Cortez; two stepsons, Damon Bradley of Silt, and Jimmy Bradley of Denver; 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Having friends and family come during hunting seasons was a highlight of Glenn’s life. He was known as a true hunter; not sitting and waiting for game to appear, but hunting them. Glenn will be immensely missed by his family and his friends.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Remembrances may be made to the Wounded Warrior project, P.O. Box 758541, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8541.
