Lydia Jean Schultz was born November 18, 1946, to Arthur and Dorothy (Martin) Schultz at Alamosa, Colo. Lydia moved often with her parents as a child. She returned to Colorado in 1975. In 1979 she met the love of her life, Brian Charles. They were married on February 16, 1980, at New Castle. Lydia had an infectious smile and laugh. She was a hard worker but she always made her family her priority. No matter how tired she was she always had a hot meal for the kids, her cinnamon rolls and potato salad were the best in the world! In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, four wheeling, NASCAR, and camping.

Lydia is survived by her husband, Brian, Gladstone; three children, Arthur (Janet) Lee, Rathdrum, Idaho, Christopher (Verlene) Lee, Kiowa, Colo., and Share’ (Koleta Williams) Lee, Aurora, Colo.; and one sister Elena (Dale) Harris, New Castle, Colo. She was preceded in death by her parents.
