Margaret Ann McClung (March 12, 1941 — June 24, 2017)
Margaret Ann (Tina) McClung, age 76, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 24, 2017. She was at home, surrounded by family and passed very peacefully. She was born on March 12, 1941 in Houston, Texas. She married James Cowan McClung II on April 6th, 1961. They only knew each other for 10 days when they married and recently celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. She lived many lives as a wife with James. She supported him while he was a professional musician, Colorado Deputy Sheriff, Colorado State Trooper, Southern Baptist Minister and a Security Guard. They had 4 children and many beloved dogs.
She lived her life in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico and Washington State. She was a licensed cosmetologist in Texas and Colorado. While in Texas, she was a Clairol Color Specialist. In Colorado, she owned and operated her own salon. In New Mexico, she owned and operated a T-Shirt company. In Washington State, she was a district mgr. for Sallys Beauty Supply and received her Real Estate license in 2005.
Tina enjoyed creating things her entire life. She was a pianist, artist, potter, seamstress and gardener. Her faith in Jesus was unyielding. She was secure and comfortable in His love. Tina accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at First Baptist Church in Lafayette, CO.
She is survived by her husband James Cowan McClung II of New Castle, CO; daughter Melisha Angelina Morton (Travis) of Grand Jct., CO; daughter Juliana Christina Phillips (Michael) of Stanwood, WA.; son James Cowan McClung III of Everett, WA, and daughter Teresa Louise Bianco (Joseph) of New Castle, CO. Nine grandchildren – Jacklyn Guffey, Kenny Guffey, Jake Wiegert, Jared Wiegert, Mindy McClung, Erika McClung, Carrie Bollock, Cindy Derby and Katie Bianco; and eight great-grandchildren.
She is loved deeply and will be missed greatly. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
