Surrounded with the love of her family, our beloved wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Mildred “Lucylle” (Gilstrap) Laukala, 83, went Home to be with the Lord on January 6, 2016.

Words cannot express how much she meant to all of us and how much she will be missed. But stronger than our immense sorrow we will hold in our hearts cherished memories of her warm and generous spirit, loving ways and her contagious giggle.

They later divorced. On April 19, 1980, she married Donald Clarence Laukala and lovingly welcomed his daughter Kari Hubin.

Donald and Lucylle lived in Dodge City, Kansas, and owned and operated the Bel-Air Motel until they retired. They moved back to Colorado and lived in Battlement Mesa, Glenwood Springs and Grand Junction.
