Norman Eugene Braden (May 29, 1946 – March 21, 2019
Norman Eugene Braden passed away March 21, 2019. He was born May 29, 1946, to Raymond and Lillian Braden in Holcombe, Wisconsin.
After graduating from Holcombe School, he worked for the Chippewa County Highway Department for several years.
He also married Bonnie Parkhurst and had a son, Kirby, who was their pride and joy. He then married Beverly Pastorius, where he gained a daughter, Brenda, and a son, Gregg, whom he loved and raised as his own.
In the 1980s Norm and Bev decided to move to Colorado, for the love of the mountains and hunting. Norman worked as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for Johnson construction, Casey Concrete and Kuersten Construction. He also worked on the Glenwood Canyon while they were double decking the highway. Norman retired from Kuersten Construction at the end of 2018.
He loved hiking and hunting in the mountains and taught his children and grandchildren the love of it all. They are now following in his footsteps, going hunting and fishing every chance they get. Even though Norm and Bev were married for 23 years, they continued to be good friends, and shared their children and grandchildren’s sports and activities.
