Warren Humble

Warren Humble was perpetually grateful and endlessly loving. He and his wife Jeanie shared the joy of relationship and family. For his children, he was their compass for navigating life. To many, he was a loyal, generous, and lifelong friend.

Warren Bruce Humble was born on July 27, 1951 in Denver, CO, and died on June 11, 2017. Warren is survived by his wife, son, Doug, daughter, Amy, her husband, Corey Smith, grandson, Steele Warren Smith, brothers, Allen and Dean, and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Lorraine Humble.

After graduating from Colorado State University, Warren received a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Colorado. He founded and built White River Counseling, serving clients throughout Colorado for over 30 years. His compassion and profound empathy touched thousands of lives as a psychologist, mentor, and teacher.

Warren enjoyed: basketball, tennis, cycling, camping, swimming, and most recently pickleball. An avid traveler, he journeyed throughout the US and around the world.

A celebration of Warren’s life will be held on June 20 at 11:00 am at 1548 County Road 137, Glenwood Springs followed by lunch.
