William Shaw Ward

William Ward, affectionately known as Wouzle, has fallen asleep in death. Son of Robert Ward and Lorraine LaTourette; he is survived by his brother, John, and his nephew, Brian. William was born July 13, 1952 in Orange, New Jersey.

Wouzle earned his nickname kayaking. Wouzle was a dedicated mountain biker who operated El JeBike; he was the long-time official timer for Aspen’s World Cup ski races. Wouzle’s memorial is on Aspen Mountain this Sunday, Sept. 22 starting at noon. Discounted tickets are available. Contact rfx150@aol.com (Kirk) for information. See you there.
