Cheers: Yes, in fact, a Big Yes to using the old library in Glenwood Springs for a senior center. We need a place for seniors to meet other seniors. It is centrally located and handicapped accessible. It can be used for a variety of things, both scheduled activities — maybe exercise classes, Tai Chi and/or yoga specifically for seniors, and drop-in card/scrabble or other games. Maybe a book club. I am ready.

Jeers: To those championing and performing cosmetic plastic surgery on dogs and other pets. Seriously. The most common procedure? Fake testicles for neutered dogs, “to restore their manhood.” This may say a great deal about our society, but for now suffice it to say that it appears our collective good sense may have been neutered along with some of our dogs.
