The cities of Glenwood Springs and Aspen invite you to join Commuter Club and be rewarded for the way you commute. Commuter Club is an incentive-based alternative transportation program designed for commuters who ride the bus, carpool, walk or bike to work throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. If you regularly use alternative transportation to get around the valley, join Commuter Club and get rewarded for your commute habits. Those interested in changing the way you commute, saving money on transportation costs or preserving the quality of life are encouraged to join. We can match you with other carpoolers or find you a bus buddy to help with your first trip. If you are interested in being a part of the solution to our congestion problems, then Commuter Club is for you.As a Commuter Club member, you will receive an e-mail each month containing a monthly newsletter, which includes the latest transportation information, as well as updates on special events and the latest prize winners. Know a Commuter Club member who deserves recognition? A dedicated biker, committed carpooler, steadfast bus rider or enthusiastic walker? As a member, you will also be eligible for monthly prizes and the chance to be named commuter of the quarter or commuter of the year. Each month, at least four club members will receive a great prize. Two members will receive a prize quarterly and the commuter of the year will receive the grand prize. Self-nominations are encouraged.As a club member, you will receive e-mail alerts from time to time from Commuter Club regarding important traffic or construction information and local events such as Bus Rider and Carpool Appreciation Day, Bike to Work Day, Trails Day and other special events happening in the Roaring Fork Valley.
