New fare system transferable between RFTA, Ride Glenwood
“The goal of a new fare system is a joint effort with RFTA and Ride Glenwood Springs (RGS) to make the system simpler to use,” said Glenwood Springs City Councilman Don Gillespie. “It will give you more flexibility time-wise between the West Glenwood to Wal-Mart route, because of the availability of more buses. Your ticket or pass from RFTA or RGS will be honored by both systems.”When someone boards a RFTA bus in Glenwood Springs who wants a one-way ride within Glenwood Springs, they can either pay $1 or use a RFTA punch pass.If someone boards a RFTA bus in Glenwood Springs and wants to purchase an all-day RGS ticket, they can either pay $2 cash or use a RFTA punch pass.
