Primary electionThe Garfield County primary election will be held Aug. 8. Today is the last day to register. Early voting will be from July 31 through Aug. 4.August 1 is the last day to apply for absentee ballot for the primary election if mailed; and if not mailed, Aug. 4 is the last day to apply for an absentee ballot.General electionThe Garfield County general election will be held Nov. 7. October 10 is the last day to register. Early voting will be held from Oct. 23 through Nov. 3. The last day to apply for absentee ballot if mailed is Oct. 31, and the last day to apply for absentee ballot if not mailed is Nov. 3.
Rainy Day Designs is hosting a showing of local ceramic artist Diane Kenney through July 28 at the studio at 16 N. Fourth St. in Carbondale.
