Afternoon Tea with sandwiches, scones and desserts will be served from 1-3 p.m. today at the Historic Primavera Restaurant in Basalt. Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park has special holiday activities planned, including visits with Santa, Christmas carolers, holiday lights and crafts for kids. From noon to 3 p.m. today, and on Saturday, Dec. 17, ride the tram to see Santa. Kids can make their own holiday ornaments and warm up with a cup of spiced cider or hot chocolate.From noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, have lunch with Santa (reservations 945-4228, ext. 11), kids can make holiday ornaments, and Christmas carolers sing holiday favorites.Enjoy holiday lights in the plaza and lunch or dinner at Exclamation Point Restaurant and Bar from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24.

The Redstone Community Association will continue its 2005-2006 Winter Series program with Getting to know the Sacred Sites of the Utes, at 7 p.m. today at the Redstone Inn. Kenny Frost, a Southern Ute Indian, archaeological law expert and consultant to the Forest Service, will give a slide presentation on and share his knowledge of Ute sacred sites in and near the Crystal River Valley.
