Exclusive Athletic Club is hosting a 240-hour program of teachers training from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 2-27 at the club, located at 118 W. Sixth St. in Glenwood Springs.Call Dave Thomas at 928-9924 for more information.

The Chambers biggest fundraiser of the year is even bigger and better this year. This years event will be held Saturday, May 5, and Sunday, May 6. And, again this year, dinner will be prepared by the chef of your choice. New this year is a Wine and Beer Tasting with hors doeuvres (instead of a silent auction).Each night, the wine and beer tasting will run from 5-6:30 p.m., and dinner will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. You wont want to miss a single minute of this event.Dinner tickets will be on sale in person at 9 a.m. Monday, April 9, at the Carbondale Chamber. First come, first served. Limited seating. You must be present to purchase tickets. Dinner tickets will not be sold over the phone or the Internet. This event will sell out quickly.There will also be a limited number of tickets to only the wine and beer tasting. They will be available for purchase over the phone or online at http://www.carbondale.com starting Monday, April 9.
