Enter the 36th annual Carbondale Mountain Fair T-Shirt and Poster Design Contest and win $500 if your design is chosen.The winning design will be used for the 2007 Mountain Fair Poster and T-Shirts. The theme this year is Puppet Revolution, All the Fairs a Stage with valley residents creating large and small puppets performing throughout the fair. The deadline for entry is May 15. Its three months and counting for the 34th annual Burning Mountain Festival.The next organizational meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at the New Castle Chamber office, 240 Main St., Suite E. Volunteers are still needed to help set up for the childrens events.

Lisa Dancing-Light, director of Higher Octave Mentoring Programs, will present the seventh annual gala music extravaganza dinner performance Ive got the Music in Me at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the Hotel Colorado. The performance showcases Lisa and her vocal and piano students ages 6-60. Tickets for the Villa Medici Buffet and show should be made by April 25.
