Join a group of women for an afternoon of sharing your experiences using art, writing and movement. The event will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, April 28, in Carbondale. To register, call Pyramid Peaks Center at 963-6888.

The newly organized Garfield County Methamphetamine Task Force invites interested community members to its first community meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, in the County Commissioners Meeting Room, 108 W. Eighth St. in Glenwood Springs.The purpose of the meeting is to educate the public about methamphetamine manufacture and use, as well as the dangers associated with the substance. The Meth Task Force Steering Committee is inviting concerned community members to join their efforts to combat the current epidemic.

Preschool Storytime at the Rifle Branch Library is canceled for Wednesday, May 2, and Thursday, May 3. Storytime will resume the following week as normal. If you have questions, please call 625-3471.
