The Glenwood Springs High School Cheerleaders are hosting an annual giftwrapping fundraiser at the mall, right behind Santa Claus Packages, from 5-8 p.m. Fridays; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays; and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Christmas Eve. There is a small fee for the giftwrapping service. Donations are much appreciated. Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to help the cheerleaders trip to Nationals in February.
Certified Anusara Yoga instructor Nova Loverro Sprick is offering a special adjusting and assisting workshop from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6. It will focus on how to use the biomechanical principles of alignment of Anusara Yoga to guide you to safely adjust and assist students in a sensitive manner. Through furthering your understanding of asana biomechanics, you will help yourself and others to find the optimal flow of energy and freedom in poses. Space is limited to 10 students.
