Restaurant Six89 is hosting the third annual RFAC Social and Benefit Dinner at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14. The evening begins with a silent auction, social appetizer hour and cash bar, followed by dinner with wine at 7:30 p.m.All proceeds go to the local avalanche center as well as the Colorado Avalanche Information Center. Seating is limited; and the event is certain to sell quickly. Call Restaurant Six89 at 963-6890 promptly for reservations.Help save a life, share the evening and the table with fellow backcountry characters, imbibe some good food and drink, impress a date, and engage in terribly hip snowpack speak.

Rifle Police officers will present information regarding Colorado driver license laws to community members at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at the Rifle Fire Protection District, 1850 Railroad Ave. Following a brief discussion, bilingual officers will be available to answer questions. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

Bookcliff, Mount Sopris and South Side conservation districts will host annual Ag Day this year at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 30 at the New Castle Community Center. Call 945-5494, ext. 105, early to make your reservations.
