West Garfield County Landfill starts summer hours 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. seven days per week today, Sunday, March 9.The countys landfill physical address is 0075 County Road 246, nine miles west of Rifle.Call 625-2516 with any questions.

The Silt Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an annual breakfast meeting at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, March 20, at the Silt Firehouse, 611 Main St. in Silt. The event is to be catered by the New Castle Diner. Everyone is welcome. RSVP to 876-9922 by March 15.

The Knights of Columbus is sponsoring an authentic corn beef and cabbage dinner from 5-7:30 p.m. St Patricks Day, Monday, March 17, at St. Stephens Church, located at 1885 Blake Ave. in Glenwood Springs. The meal will be prepared by Beau Jos restaurant. Wear your green and come out for a great meal!

The Holistic Harmony music program presents Nathan Patterson, classical pianist, to perform from 12:15-1:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, in the upper lobby of Valley View Hospital. The public is invited, and lunch is available. Musicians interested in participating in the program may contact Lesa Russo at 309-1701.
