The Holistic Harmony music program presents Nathan Patterson, classical pianist, to perform from 12:15-1:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, in the upper lobby of Valley View Hospital. The public is invited, and lunch is available. Musicians interested in participating in the program may contact Lesa Russo at 309-1701.

Local author Karen Chamberlain will present Seduced by a Canyon Oasis, or The History of a Non-Working Ranch, at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at the Glenwood Springs Library. The free program is the third in the annual Winter Lecture Series, sponsored by the Frontier Historical Society and the Friends of the Glenwood Springs Library. The official grand reopening of the Midland Arts Co., a fine crafts gallery in downtown Rifle, will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday March 14 and 15. Meet the artists/owners and enjoy refreshments at the evening reception from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 14. Enter the drawing any time during the weekend to win one of many beautiful art pieces donated by the artists/owners. Winners need not be present.For questions, call 625-3068. The Roaring Fork Valley Performing Arts Club will be held from 6-8 p.m. every Tuesday at Glenwood Springs Elementary School. It is free and open to the public.
