Singer/songwriter Frank Martin will entertain for lunch Wednesday, March 26, in the lobby concert at Valley View Hospital. The public is welcome, and lunch is available.

Rotary District 5470 and Glenwood Springs three Rotary clubs are seeking young professional applicants to visit Ireland and Northern Ireland from Aug. 28 through Oct. 5, 2008. The trip is sponsored by local Rotary District 5470 and the Group Study Exchange program of the Rotary Foundation. Team member expenses are covered by Rotary International.The deadline for completed applications is May 20. Dandelion Day, Carbondales Earth Day, is right around the corner. Submit your entry for D-Day shirts and posters. Drop designs at Carbondale Town Hall before 5 p.m. Friday, April 4. Progressive music at the Eagles Club, 312 Seventh St., Glenwood Springs, with the return of Capillary Action from Philadelphia with special guests In Shining Armour and Honor The Fallen. Doors for the all-ages show open at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 25. Cover charge is $5 at the door.
