Parachute Police Chief David W. Higuera will be recognized for his 22 years of outstanding service at a social gathering from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at Parachute Town Hall. Everyone is welcome, and the floor will be open at 1 p.m. for anyone who wishes to speak.

Josiah Rider of Silt needs financial help so he can participate in the Terminator World Championships in Toledo, Ohio, April 14-16. Josiah, 7, wishes to compete in this event at the Seagate Center. He recently won first place at the Rocky Mountain Nationals in Denver.Please mail all donations to 4833 County Road 214, Silt, CO 81652 by April 3.

All Valley Music Together is currently enrolling new families for music and movement classes April through May. Classes are designed for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and their parents or caregivers. Call 963-1482 for information.
