The Glenwood Springs Eagles Club is sponsoring an all-ages Friday the 13th Heavy Metal Party featuring Crowd the Fire, Cryptic Hour, Autumn Burn and Angelic Deficiency. Doors open at 7 p.m. June 13, and the show starts at 8 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 312 Seventh St. in Glenwood Springs. There will be a cover charge at the door.For more information, call 945-5506.

Bring your best friend Teddy to the Community Center for a Teddy Bear Picnic, featuring a Castle Bounce and creative crafts. Bring a sack lunch. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The event is designed for kids 3-6 years old, and will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, at the Glenwood Springs Community Center.Belly dancing classes are now being offered at the Glenwood Springs Community Center.
