The Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association, in conjunction with Pinnacol Insurance, will hold a Slips, Trips, and Falls seminar at 8 a.m. April 18 at the Glenwood Springs Community Center. Dave Weidemann of Western Slope Peak Performance will speak on pre-employment screening from 9-9:30 a.m. Cost is $25 for members and $40 for nonmembers; preregistration is required. The Salvation Army offers a Food Economics Made Easy workshop from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, at the Glenwood Springs Community Center. This fun and informative workshop will show you how to eat well without going broke at the grocery store. Free child care provided. Call 945-6976 for details.
