Glenwood Springs disabled persons or seniors in need of help with basic indoor repairs or yard maintenance may call 384-8746 for information about the new program, Helping Hands for Seniors. Leave your name and number, and a volunteer will call back.The program is sponsored by High Country RSVP. Volunteers will be welcomed to this program.

Alpine Christian Academy will host a holiday Gingerbread House Decorating Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 6. Children and adults decorate their own gingerbread houses. Refreshments and all decorating supplies are included in the donation. All proceeds benefit the high school service trip in the spring. Call 927-9106 to reserve a space. Walk-in participants are welcome. The academy is located at 20449 Highway 82 across from the Willits subdivision.
