The Carbondale Music and Lobster Fest has expanded to include Friday night, June 23, and again all day Saturday, June 24. Feast on fresh lobster flown in from Maine, and enjoy the music of many local bands and performers. The event is sponsored by Steves Guitars and the town of Carbondale. A huge beer and wine tent, great local music, kids activities and good company will be the order of the day. Lobster is served in hourly sittings. Lobster tickets will be pre-sold; lobster meal event day walk-ups will not be guaranteed and in extremely limited supply. Lobsters sold out in 2005. Call Carbondale Recreation at 704-4116 to purchase a lobster, inquire about more details or to find ticket venues.

Dancing Colours offers a variety of childrens summer workshops, including Paint That Chair, Flower Girls, Creative Authors, and Nature Watercolor/Poetry Journals. The Dancing Colours studio is located at 968 Main St. in Carbondale. Call 963-2965 for details.
